Jadi akan terhitung waktu perjalanan dengan slow ferry sekitar 8 Jam.

Cuaca buruk pada akhir-akhir ini yang terjadi di perairan selat lombok membuat penyebrangan cepat dari pelabuhan padang bai Bali ke Gili Trawangan sedikit terhambat dimana sebelumnya penyebrangan trip siang ditutup. Pada 06 Februari 2017 diterbitkanlah surat edaran tentang “Peringatan Dini Gelombang Tinggi” yang berisi :

  1. Memperhatikan informasi prakiraan cuaca dari BMKG Maritim wilayah pelayaran selat lombok bagian utara bahwa pada tanggal 07 dan 08 Februari 2017 diperkirakan terjadi gelombang tinggi di perairan selat lombok dan sekitarnya yang mencapai hingga 3.5 Meter atau lebih.
  2. Sehubungan hal tersebut diatas dan untuk kepentingan keselamatan pelayaran dengan ini disampaikan kepada para nahkoda, Pemilik.Operator kapal cepat yang beroperasi pada lintas Pemenang- Gili Matra- Padang bai- Amed – Nusa Penida/Nusa lembongan dan serangan/Benoa bahwa pada tanggal 07 dan 08 Februari 2017 kantor unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan Kelas III Pemenang akan menutup sementara untuk pelayaran kapal yang berlayar pada lintasan tersebut.
  3. Demikian untuk diketahui dan dilaksanakan sebagaimana mestinya.
